GLOW was started in 1991 with the intention of sharing information about effective biomass-related appropriate technology and dissemination strategies, methods of program development, and means of improving program components.

GLOW is a forum for exchange of experiences and ideas on cookstoves and related issues and is published on a quarterly basis.
