Proceeding Asia
Regional Kitchen Improvement Workshop and Training, 6-16
May 1996, Dhulikhel, Nepal. |
The lack of attention paid to the kitchen
environment in Asia gives rise to concern from the point
of view of health. ARECOP realized that it could act as
a bridge that bring results of important work on kitchen
to those who could introduce kitchen improvement through
improved stove program in Asia. ARECOP embarked on a collaborative
program, the Asia Regional Program for Kitchen Improvement
with the Lund Center for Habitat Studies, Sweden and Hanoi
Architectural Institute, Vietnam. A component of the program
was the regional workshop/ training held in Nepal. The proceeding
provides an overview of the training/workshop structure
and contents, in addition to results of field exercise.
