Measuring Indoor air pollution levels in Kitchens The measurements were taken for a 24 hour period in traditional kitchens and in kitchen improved under the ARECOP and GEF programmes. The improved kitchen would have an improved cook stove, better ventilation, chimney for the smoke to escape and other basic improvements.The results show that there is a significant reduction of CO and particulate matter in kitchens after improvement. A report will be produced after taking measurements 30 sample kitchens.
