APPROTech Asia joined the World Bank Global Development Marketplace 2007 There is a record-high of 2,900 project proposals submitted.104 project proposals were short-listed to compete in World Bank Global Development Marketplace 2007. Only 22 projects were awarded the grant. Approtech Asia was the first to be called on stage to receive the award during the Awarding Ceremony at World Bank in Washington D.C.
The Global DM2007 will build 6 common improved kitchen and improved cookstoves for 50 street food vendors and 200 micro-entrepreneurs in the Cities of Manila, Quezon and Pasay.
